Genres range from the hopelessly vague to the ludicrously pedantic. This site excludes some of the more obscure micro-genres in existence for the sake of simplicity, so users will occasionally have to put up with generalisations. 'Jazz' for example denotes anything from hard-bob to big-band. 'Classical' music is fairly resiliant to subdivisions, but 'House' is no longer a useful term for all its mutations. Genres offer rough directions, curiosity should do the rest.

Banner rotation: Currently banners are chosen randomly from a pool. A dynamic system sensitive to search criteria (country/city) is planned for the future.
Design: All banners are based on a standard layout. Inclusion of a shop logo, a small photo or a colour associated with the shop is possible.
